  • This is the ONLY PLACE I go to NOW when I'm craving pounded yams and egusi. The portions are just right and the flavors is phenomenal. Service is always great and the atmosphere isn't bad.

  • Very nice place in the Colony. I had a plate of Jollof Rice, Jerk Chicken and cabbage on the side. Everything was delicious. Fun fact: Chef Lanre is also the creator of Jiffy Jollof sauce. Look it up and try it!! It's really good!!

  • We had an amazing experience, and everything was absolutely delicious! My daughters had been eager to try pounded yam and Egusi, and it did not disappoint. Presentation was beautiful! The flavors were bold and authentic, and the dish was incredibly satisfying. The guava drink was the perfect complement..refreshing, rich, and full of flavor. We can’t wait to come back!

  • Everything was a little too spicy and salty to my liking even with the sweet flavor of fufu but I am very glad to have experienced trying African food! The restaurant’s ambience and service were great.

  • Been meaning to leave a review for a while. I absolutely adore this place and have been multiple times. Usually there's only one person there running the place so the food is slow to come out but the wait has never not been worth it. I love the pepper stew the most but honesty anything here is awesome. I usually take my partner or a friend so we can have long talks with good food and the space has always been great for that. I wish it was less expensive but honestly only because I would be there all the time.

  • Zag Afro-Fusion Cuisine is a must visit if you are in the North Dallas area. The food is quite delicious. I had their jollof, fish and dodo (fried plantain) and it was a burst of flavors. My husband can't stop raving about their jerk chicken. This is the place to go if you want a nice "home cooked" Nigerian meal. (UPDATE: Long wait times for food)
